Das IT Unternehmen Categis GmbH (Internet: www.softwaretogo.de) bietet die Entwicklung von Individualsoftware, übernimmt Offshore Auftragsprogrammierung für deutsche Softwarehäuser und entwickelt eigene Produkte im Bereich Finanzen & Controlling. In 2011 fiel die Entscheidung für den Aufbau eines Offshore Entwicklungsstandortes in Bangalore, im sogenannten „Silicon Valley Indiens“. Das IT Entwicklungszentrum wurde im Februar 2012 in Betrieb genommen. Heute arbeiten dort 30 MitarbeiterInnen.
